Cynthia L. “Cindy” Pertile, 68 of Ellwood City is now singing with the angels after passing away on Friday, May 25, 2018.  A 1967 graduate of Lincoln High School, Cindy went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Geneva College and her Master’s degree in Music Education from Duquesne University.  For 33 years Cindy blessed the Ellwood City community by sharing her joy of teaching children through music.  As choir director at Lincoln High School, she took many choirs to Florida, New York City, Washington D.C. and Tennessee to perform and hosted several Pennsylvania Music…

Mr. Harry W. Tindall, 61, formerly of Portersville passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at his residence in Titusville. Harry was born on December 15, 1956 in Butler to the late Harry and Grace (Cranz) Tindall. He had worked at Kerr Glass in Waxahachie, TX for 15 years, and most recently at Homerwood Hardwood Finishing Flooring in Titusville for 11 years. Perry Alan DuBois Sr., 29, of Clover Ave., Ellwood City died as the result of injuries received from a motor vehicle accident on Route 18 on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Born August 30, 1988 in New Castle, he was the son of Sherry Klingensmith of New Castle and the late Frank DuBois. Mrs. Josephine M. Massine, 98, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at the Trinity Oaks Care Center. Mrs. Massine was born on September 3, 1919 in Ellwood City to the late Domenico and Bertha Florio (Flowers) Ierace. She had attended Lincoln High School, and is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish. During World War II, Josephine worked at the U.S. Steel Tube Mill in Ellwood City. She is a member of the Golden Agers. and she enjoyed bingo, bowling and playing cards. Virginia A. “Ginie” Walters, 67, of Perry Township, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars. Born on October 12, 1950 in Pittsburgh, PA Ginie was the daughter of the late Raymond and Regina Schneider Adams.  She graduated from Perry High School and later married David M. Mark  A. Campbell, 61, of Ellwood City (Franklin Twp.), passed away peacefully on  Monday afternoon,  May 21, 2018 at his home. He was born in Ellwood City on August 25 1956, to the late Wayne T. Campbell, and the late Clara C. Yeykal Campbell. Mark graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City, class of 1974. He attended both Edinboro University and the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Ernest C. Mallary, 76, of Wayne Twp. passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the UPMC Jameson Hospital. Steven C. Palatka, 69, of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at his residence. Born February 27, 1949, Steven was the son of the late Steve Z. and Pauline (Savu) Palatka. A 1967 graduate of Lincoln High School, Steven subsequently studied engineering technology at Point Park College, where he was a member of Lamda Chi Alpha fraternity. Upon culminating his education at Point Park College, Steven worked at U.S. Steel as an engineering technologist. Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Doris Kathleen Miller, 85 of Fombell passed away peacefully at home on Friday May 18th, 2018. Born August 9th, 1932 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Willa (Daufen) Varner. A 1950 graduate of Lincoln High School. She first worked at Margaret’s Restaurant.
