After 21 years, he was reunited with the love of his life, the late Mary Jane (nee Mathas) Marcello, whom he married on May 2, 1953, and passed away on March 18, 1997. Mrs. Jean A. Moldovan, 81, of Ellport passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Lawrence County Geri-Care. Mrs. Moldovan was born on December 3, 1936 in New Brighton to the late Boyd S. and Madge (Poe) Blinn. She had graduated from the New Brighton High School with the class of 1954. Jean had worked at the Kwik Fill in both Franklin Twp. and Zelienople as a manager, and later at Ellport Junction as a cashier. She was a member of the Koffee Klache Bowling League at the Park Lanes Bowling Alley, and enjoyed crocheting, painting, poetry, and drawing….

Mildred  E.   “Midge”   Davidson, 84, of  Ellwood City (Franklin Twp.), passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, April 4 2018 at  Heritage Valley Beaver. She was born in Hopewell Township, Beaver County  on May 25 1933  to the late  James and Edna Marshall  McAnany. She graduated from  Hopewell   High School, and was an active member of Calvin Presbyterian Church in Ellwood City, where she belonged to the Calvineers  and M& M Class, and  had been an elder as well as a deacon.  She also was a greeter for the church, welcoming  guests and new members. Born in 1936, Julia was the daughter of the late Andrew and Julia Zudal of Ellwood City. Julia is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bernard D. Rutter of Ellwood City, daughter, Andrea (Michael) Jaros of Aliquippa; and two sisters, Catherine (James) Conroy and Audrey Bolam, both of Ellwood City. Evelyn Pearl Dooley, 92, a long time resident of Trinity Oaks in Franklin Township, Ellwood City passed away April 3, 2018. She was born in Franklin Township on February 11, 1926, the daughter of Mr. John and Mrs. Elise Stephenson. She was married to Robert J. Dooley for 55 years; Bob died in 2001. Together on Butler Avenue in Franklin Township, they raised their beautiful daughter Darcy, also deceased. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, Scott B.   Martha Leona Moyer, 102, formerly of Ellwood City passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Forest Hill Heights Assisted Living Home in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born May 31, 1915 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Cora D. Marshall Brandon. She was married for 43 years to Earl P. Moyer as they were married on December 21, 1942. He passed away June 21, 1985. Mrs. Moyer graduated from Lincoln High School and from Slippery Rock State Teachers College. Ruth J. Jubach, 87, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, April 1 2018 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford PA. She was born in Ellwood City on November 2 1930, to the late George and Anna Marie “Oma” Bruner Jubach.
