Mary Jane Hall, 57, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at her home in Chewton following a short illness. Born August 12, 1961 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late John H. Hall Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Goebel Hall with whom she resided. Mary Jane graduated from Walmo Intermediate School. She worked at Lark Workshop for many years and then attended the Lawrence County Adult Training Facility. She was a member of the Chewton Christian Church. Dr. Charles L. “Lee” Barnes, Jr., 77 of North Sewickley Twp. passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at his residence. Dr. Barnes was born on January 16, 1942 in Wooster, OH to the late Rev. Charles L. Barnes, Sr. and Maryellen (Smith) Barnes. He had graduated from Zelienople High School with the class of 1959, and Penn State University. Nicholas C. Risko, 95, of Ellport, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 10, 2019 in The Grove at New Wilmington, passing peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Ellport, he was the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Trynovich Risko.  A 1941 graduate of Lincoln High School, Nicholas attended Garfield Business College and Geneva College.  He served in the US Army from 1943 to 1946, attaining the rank of Corporal and serving 30 months in the Pacific Theatre.  He was awarded two battle stars for the New Guinea and Philippine campaigns.  He married…

Ruth Alma Oberfeitinger, 97, of Ellwood City passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Northview Estates. Born May 19, 1922 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late LaRue and Bertha Murray Gortner. She was married to Howard Oberfeitinger for 51 years when he passed away in 1998.
