Jason D. “Jake” Taylor, 53, of Perry Twp., Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 in Gettysburg. Born December 31, 1965 in Butler, he was the son of the late Dallas and Geneva (Morgan) Taylor. He was married to Vicki Sturm Taylor who died January 17, 2017. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John Taylor. Jake graduated from Knoch High School. He was a long distance truck driver for Barnhart Transportation Co. which is based in Northeast PA. Marc R. Hill, 28, of Baden, formerly of Shenango Township, passed away on Monday, August 19 2019. He was born in Ellwood City on October 10 1990 to the late John Crespo, and Christina Hill of Fombell. Marc graduated from Shenango High School in 2009. He received his training as an EMT from Medic Rescue. Marc worked for Medic Rescue Ambulance Service for several years. Mrs. Saundra Leann Ringle, 78, of Franklin Township passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the Butler Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Ringle was born on June 19, 1941 in Ellwood City to the late Gerald “Barney” and Betty (Brown) Barnett. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1959 and from Slippery Rock State College with a degree in Education. Miss Mary Jane Russo, 94, formerly of Ellwood City passed away at the Bickford Assisted Living and Memory Care in Shelby Charter Twp., Michigan. Mary Jane was born on July 20, 1925 in Altoona, Pa to the late Joseph and Jennie (Carmosin0) Russo. She, along with her parents moved to Ellwood City in 1926. Roberta M. Fatula,  94, of  Ellwood City,  passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019 at the Ellwood City Medical Center. Roberta was born on June 13, 1925 to the late Hugh and Mary Pollack Maxwell.  She was married  first to the late Floyd Thorpe and later to the late James J. Fatula. Roberta was a 1945 graduate of the Allegheny General Hospital Nursing School and was a retired Registered Nurse for many years working at Drs. Barbara K. Tepsich, 72, of Shenango Twp. (formerly of Boyd School Rd.,Wampum) passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 at The Grove of New Castle following a lengthy illness.
