Ms. Denise (DeTullio ) Thompson, 64, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the Butler Memorial Hospital. Denise was born on May 4, 1955 in Ellwood City to the late Fred and Elizabeth M. (DiCola) Detullio. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1973 and from Slippery Rock University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. Herbert E. Deal, 81

Herbert E. Deal, 81, of West Pittsburg passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 at his residence following a short illness. Born July 11, 1938 in Koppel, he was the son of the late Herbert H. and Margaret C. (Mills) Deal. Herb retired in 1986 from Babcock and Wilcox where he was a millwright welder. He then worked and retired in 2000 from Essroc Cement Co. in Bessemer. A Veteran of the Army, Herb served during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. Shirley F. Snare, 84, of  Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, August 1 2019, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, after a long illness. She was born in Ellwood City on June 22 1935 to the late Victor and Lillian McCready  Rider. Julia A. McKinney, 63, of Wampum, passed away at UPMC Jameson on Monday, July 29, 2019. Born in Ellwood City on July 2, 1956, Julia was the daughter of the late Tulio and Susan Riccardi Deluria.  She married Steve McKinney on January 23, 1975.  Julia worked at the Residence Inn in Cranberry Township.  She enjoyed swimming, crocheting, cooking and playing bingo.  She loved spending time with her five grandchildren and her great-grandson.
