In loving memory of Joyce Ierace, who passed away on April 13, 2021.  Joyce Fosnaught Ierace was born on May 12, 1936, in Ellwood City, PA.  She married Eugene Ierace in 1956.  They had four children: Kathy, Tom, Betty Jo, and Dan.  They moved to Weirton, WV, in 1967 and lived there for many years. They moved to Laurinburg, NC, in 1979 and eventually moved back to Ellwood.  In 2015, Joyce and Gene moved to Whispering Oaks Independent Living in Hermitage, PA.  They were lovingly cared for by the staff there, including Quaryah Garner. Mr. Douglas J. Carsele, 91, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the Carriage Manor Personal Care. Mr. Carsele was born on January 10, 1930 in Ellwood City to the late James and Esther (Barile) Carsele, Sr.. He had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1947. He enlisted with the U.S. Army on February 23, 1951 and served with the Company B 522nd Infantry out of Fort Sill, Oklahoma until his discharge on February 20, 1954. Mr. Clyde was born in Ellwood City on March 9, 1941 to the late John O. and Winifred (Pluso) Clyde. He had attended Lincoln High School and is a member of the Lillyville Church of God. Justin N. Park, 21 of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Youngstown, OH from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Born in New Castle, PA on September 16, 1999, Justin was the son of Matthew J. and Nicole R. Ronald G. Hogue, 77, of Chewton passed away on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 at his residence Ron was born on November 26th, 1943 in Ellwood City to the late McClelland and Laurine (Wolfe) Hogue. He graduated from Lincoln High School. Ron enlisted with U.S. Airforce on September 7th, 1961 and was discharged on September 3rd, 1965 with the rank of Airman First Class, and awarded the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. Mr. John “Jack” Ferguson, 84, of Ellwood City passed away at the Jameson Care Center in New Castle on Tuesday April 6, 2021 following an extended illness. Born in Pittsburgh on November 5 1936, he was the son of the late John D. and May (Harrison) Ferguson of Mount Jackson. Jack graduated from Mount Jackson High School in 1954. Melvin O. Main, 69, formerly of Ellwood City passed away on April 5th, 2021 at the Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. Melvin was born on January 12th, 1952 in Ellwood City, to the late Marshall O. and Viola June (Shuster) Main. He graduated from Riverside High School with the class of 1970 and was a member of Wiley Hill Baptist Church. Melvin enjoyed bowling, fishing, and watching Steeler games.
