Anastasia M. Groves, 88, of Wampum passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born August 18, 1932 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Stella Modliszewski Zak. She was married to Lawrence E. Groves. He passed in 1996. She was a member of the Polish White Eagles, Red Hats, Amvets, and the New Castle Eagles Club. Anastasia loved gardening, camping, sewing, and playing bingo. Jackie Lynn Biega, 54, of Chewton passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer. Born May 23, 1967 in New Brighton, she was the daughter of Howard D. and Linda Lee Harker. She was married to Anthony J. Biega for over 20 years. Jackie was a current member of the Victory Family Church in Cranberry. She was a member of the Chewton Volunteer Fire Department. Jackie was the first female fire chief in Lawrence County history. Rosalie L. McKinney, 87, of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital. Born March 17, 1934 in Youngstown, she was the daughter of the late George and Florence Nolder Hover. She was married to Norman E. McKinney for 63 years. He passed on February 6, 2018. Rosalie was formerly employed by Sotus Candy, Fisher Big Wheel, and also cleaned houses. Rosalie was an active member of the Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon, taught Sunday school, and sang in the choir. She enjoyed crafting and collecting bells. Born April 7, 1926 in Clearfield Co, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Sr. and Vanda A. Gmerek Stiles. She was married to the late Thomas C. Mills Sr. who passed away in 1994.
