Betty Jane (Duncan) Stanford, 91, of Prospect passed away on November 15, 2021, at her daughter’s home. She was born December 8, 1929, to the late Elizabeth (Kish) Duncan and Frank Duncan, in Beaver Falls.
She leaves behind her daughter Linda (Lynn) and husband Ron Hill, of New Castle, PA, Sons Howard (Hoot) Stanford and wife Margie of Prospect, PA, John Stanford and wife Debbie of Prospect, PA, Steve Stanford of Pgh, PA, 14 Grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
She enjoyed watching her soap operas, going out to lunch, and spending time with her family. Betty was of Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her brother Irwin Duncan, her husband Howard Stanford, Sr, and daughter Melda (Stanford) Ayres, and beloved cat of 16 years “Kitty Cat.”
The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00pm, on Thursday, November 18, 2021, and Friday, from 9:00am until 10:00am November 19, 2021, at Harmony Baptist Church located at 4103 Ellwood Rd in New Castle. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00am with Pastor Jeff McKay, officiating.
Interment will be in Portersville Presbyterian Church Cemetery, located at Rt 19, in Portersville.
Arrangements entrusted to the TURNER FUNERAL HOME located at 5th and Park in Ellwood City.
