Mrs. Dorothy M. (Kramer) DiFrischia, 87,  of Scott Twp. passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at the UPMC Jameson Hospital, Emergency Room. Mrs. DiFrischia was born on December 28, 1934 in Ellwood City to the late John and Matilda (Schuffert) Kramer. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1953. On April 30, 1955 she married Donald T. DiFrischia. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Sue Drotleff of Neshannock Twp., her son, Donald J. Mr. Joseph R. Baros, 78, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021 at the UPMC Jameson Care Center in New Castle. Mr. Baros was born in Ellwood City to the late Joseph and Mary (Zona) Baros on October 30, 1942. He had attended Lincoln High School, and is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish. For 38 years Joe worked for the Borough of Ellwood City in the Street Department. and outdoorsman, he was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer. Teri Beeler Plassmeyer, 61, of Ellwood City passed away June 29, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Teri has continued her kindness through the gift of life by becoming an organ donor. Born September 5, 1959 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late David McKim and  Z. Ann Cook McKim who passed away in 2017. Teri had formerly worked at Beatrice Foods in Ellwood and most recently at Aldo’s Foods in Hopewell. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan. G. Eileen Shearer, 98, of New Beaver Borough, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 26 at her residence. Francisco “Frank” “Mr. Z”, Zayas Jr., 74, of Ellwood City passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at VA Medical Center – Oakland following a courageous battle with cancer. Born February 12, 1947 in San Juan, Puerto Rico he was the son of the late Francisco Sr. and Dolores Cuba Zayas. He and Jan Dargis Zayas were married in Jamaica 16 years ago.
