Hawk III, 53, of West Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully with his mother by his side Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Beaver Falls following a courageous four-year battle with MS. Born November 9, 1972, in New Brighton, he was the son of Kathleen DeMauro and the late Donald E. Hawk II. He graduated from Union Area High School in 1991. Mr. Alfred “Fred” J. Mazzanti, 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18th, 2025 at his son Ray’s residence in New Castle. Mr. Mazzanti was born in North Sewickley Township on August 13th, 1933 to the late Peter and Anna (Mingione) Mazzanti.  Fred attended Lincoln High School until he enlisted with the United States Navy on January 15th, 1953. He served with the Navy until his honorable discharge on January 11th, 1957. Mrs. Marion C. Brown, 88, of Ellwood City, passed away early Sunday morning, December 14th, 2025 surrounded by her loving family Mrs. Brown was born on June 5th, 1937 in Beaver Falls to the late William and Annabel (Forney) Weber. She had attended Beaver Falls High School. She was a longtime member of the Homewood United Methodist Church. Born November 27, 1936, in New Galilee, he was the son of the late Ralph L and Mildred Andrews Barber. He married Beverly McElwain Barber on April 21, 1958. Rod had many jobs throughout his life. Mrs. Minteer was born in Ellwood City on January 20th, 1944 to the late Vincent and Victoria (Garisto) DeCaria. Douglas M. Burr, of Ellwood City passed away on December 8, 2025, at AHN-Wexford following a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Butler on October 14, 1965, to the late Edward and Blanche Eichenauer Burr. Doug graduated from Seneca Valley and worked at Gateway Recycling for 12 years. For 15 years he served as a Franklin Twp Volunteer Fireman. Doug was an avid fan of dirt track racing and was a valued member of the Shayne Izzo Motorsport Crew. She was born on April 5, 1939, in Spartansburg, PA, to Jay Morton and Irene Stover Macy. She graduated Salutatorian from Spartanburg High School in 1957.
