Harry Robert “Bob” Shirley, 93, of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully at home following an extended illness on January 22, 2024. He was born on September 12, 1930 in Huston, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Thomas Charles Shirley and Mary Louise “Putt” Shirley Nicholson. Bob married the love of his life, Carol Ann “Cook” Shirley, on March 28, 1970, who passed away on February 08, 2003. Paul Robert Zurynski passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at his residence with his loved ones steadfastly surrounding him. Paul was born on September 17, 1956, in Beaver Falls, PA to the late Paul and Jane (Watson) Zurynski. He graduated from Big Beaver Falls Area High School with the Class of 1974. (Onada) Siesing on December 5th, 1936. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1954 and has served for many years as an officer and organizer of the class’s annual reunion. Mrs. Frieda Theresia Pitelka, 93, of Ellwood City passed away the afternoon of January 14, 2024 at Quality Life Service of New Castle. Born in Zemun, Yugoslavia on August 23, 1930, Frieda was the daughter of the late Josef and Jovanika (Dragutinovic) Viola. Frieda married her beloved husband Frank Pitelka in Austria on September 11, 1948. They had made their home in Ellwood City since 1952.
