Mrs. Marian Gib, 100, of Ellwood City passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 1st, 2024 at her residence. Marian was born on February 25th, 1923 in Aliquippa, Pa. She was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Vanga) Radut. To live to be 100 was something Marian was very proud of. Marian was married to George Gib Sr. on September 18th, 1949. He preceded her in death on January 19th, 1983. She was a graduate of Aliquippa High School, and lifelong member of the St. Elias Romanian Orthodox Church in Ellwood City. Lana Jo Hudson, 70, of Beaver Falls (formerly of Wampum) passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab Center. Born April 23, 1953 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Melda Stanford Martin. For many years Lana worked as a nurses aide in Roman Eagle, VA. She enjoyed painting, doing puzzles, and loved her cats. Survivors include three sons, Philip D., Paul D. and Robert E. Rodger Dale Swogger, 85, of New Beaver Borough passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 25, 2024 at his residence. Born April 16, 1938 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Hubert Lee and Goldie May Snyder Swogger. Rodger spent his working years as a meat cutter and also managed the meat department in grocery stores in the area.
