Erik Anderson, 50, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2022. Born on April 23, 1972 in Phoenix, Erik was the son of Helmer T. Anderson of Iola, Wisconsin and the late Barbara Dici Anderson. Erik grew up in Miami, where he graduated from Palmetto High School and attended Miami-Dade Community College. He loved playing baseball and football, but his biggest passions in life were his love of music and his close friends. Mr. Louis “Louie” V. Franzi, 99, of Ellwood City, passed away Saturday, July 9th, 2022 at the Quality of Life Services in New Castle. Louis was born on June 20th, 1923 in Ellwood City to the late Luigi and Sara (Ruscillo) Franze. He graduated from the Lincoln High School with the class of 1941 and enlisted with U.S. Airforce. Mark P. DaVare, 66, of Ellwood City, passed away on July 8th, 2022 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Mark was born in Ellwood City on June 14th, 1956 to the late Victor and Sarah E. (Dahl) DaVare. He graduated from the Lincoln High School with the class of 1974. For over 40 years Mark owned and operated Mark’s Garage in Ellwood City’s “West-End”. Mrs. Bartolomeo was born on July 3rd, 1929 in Ellwood City to the late Joseph and Marie (Purrina) Pasquale . She is a member of the Holy Redeemer Church and the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers. Will was born on August 25th, 1933 at home, in Koppel to the late Joseph and Theresa (Pisani) Primerano. Ralph “Butch” DiCerbo, 92, of Ellwood City passed away at Good Samaritan Hospice in Brighton Township on Saturday, July 2, 2022.
