Valerie R. Banks, 79, of Pittsburgh passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Pennwood Nursing and Rehab Center. Born September 23, 1941 in Saint Marys, PA, she was the daughter of the late Whythe and Ruth McFeely. Valerie became a registered nurse after graduating from the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed by Allegheny County. Survivors include daughter, Rachel Bargebuhr of Ellwood City; sister, Pam (John) Kautz; niece, Kathy Fragale and her family all of Emporium PA. Mrs. Rose Marie Brown, 83, of Ellwood City passed away on Sunday, June 6th, 2021 at the UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. Mrs. Brown was born in Ellwood City on November 10th, 1937 to the late Bruno and Mary (Pezzi) Buccelli. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1955. Mr. Eugene Leroy Stiefel, 94, passed away on Thursday, June 3rd, 2021. He was born on August 12th, 1926 in Ellwood City to the late Archie and Mildred (Jacobs) Stiefel and was a lifelong resident of Ellwood City. One of the few remaining World War II veterans, Eugene served on Guam as a Navy Seabee.
