Cecelia (Teets) Oliver passed away on December 16, 2022, at her home at the age of 86. She lived most of her life in North Sewickley Township. Preceding her in death were her parents, Theodore and Dorothea (Thompson) Teets; her daughter, Loretta; her sister and brother-in-law, Myrna and Bill Howman; her sister, Patty (Joe) Woloszyn; and her stepmother, Ruthene Kocher Teets. Bruce Allen Ives, 64, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022. He was born September 1, 1958, in Ellwood City, PA to Robert T. Ives and Ruth B. (Minkel) Ives. Bruce graduated from Valparaiso High School, Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, and the University of Michigan with a master’s degree in Fine Arts. Bruce’s professional career was largely spent working for nonprofit organizations in Chicago. Bruce was a lover and supporter of the arts. Mrs. Edith Kravos, 91, formerly of New Beaver Borough, passed away on December 5th, 2022 at the Northview Estates. Edith was born on May 6th, 1931 in Ellwood City to the late Raymond and Nellie (Cavallaro) DiFalco. She graduated from Ellwood City’s Lincoln High School with the class of 1949. Charles W. Kennedy, 56, of Ellwood City passed away at his home on December 3, 2022 following a lengthy illness. He was born on April 20, 1966 in Ellwood City and graduated from Lincoln High School. He was a skilled tradesman and a very hard worker. In his spare time he loved cooking, sharing recipes, fishing and his Pittsburgh sports teams. Mr. Gary L. Forsythe, 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022 at the UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township. Gary was born on October 13th, 1944 in Pittsburgh to the late Marshall and Edna (Henderson) Forsythe. He attended Mars High School and is a veteran of the United States Army with a discharge rank of E-4 (Specialist).
