Rosalie L. McKinney, 87, of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital. Born March 17, 1934 in Youngstown, she was the daughter of the late George and Florence Nolder Hover. She was married to Norman E. McKinney for 63 years. He passed on February 6, 2018. Rosalie was formerly employed by Sotus Candy, Fisher Big Wheel, and also cleaned houses. Rosalie was an active member of the Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon, taught Sunday school, and sang in the choir. She enjoyed crafting and collecting bells. Born April 7, 1926 in Clearfield Co, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Sr. and Vanda A. Gmerek Stiles. She was married to the late Thomas C. Mills Sr. who passed away in 1994. Lilly was an active member of the Park Alliance Church in Ellwood City. She was a member of the church couples bowling league. William P. Skvarla Sr., 93, of Ellwood City passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at his residence. Born March 24, 1928 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Steve and Mary Pavuk Skvarla. Bill graduated from Lincoln High School in 1947, where he was a member of the gymnastic team, and enlisted in the Air Force, serving from 1948-1952. After his honorable discharge he was employed at the Ellwood Tube Mill, Massa Brothers Construction Company, and B&W in Beaver Falls until his retirement.
