Mrs. Amy L. Yaromey, 54, of Ellwood City passed away on Wednesday, July 17th, 2024 at her residence. Amy was born in New Castle to Patricia (Main) Rukovena and the late Michael Rukovena, Sr. on February 3rd,1970. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1988 and later earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Accounting. For the past 30 years Amy worked at Eric-Ryan Corporation, presently known as Renodis, as the accounts receivable manager. Sylvia Helen Chance, 85, of Ellwood City passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at her residence. Born February 13, 1939 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Emily Trojanowski Steving. Survivors include her husband, Robert Chance; eight children; sister, Roberta Schick and a brother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters. William J. Myers, 69, of Ellport passed away at his residence, surrounded by his wife and family, on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. Urie C. Yoder, 75, of Little Beaver Township passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024 at his residence following a farm accident. Born July 4, 1949 in Enon Valley, he was the son of the late Christie S. and Mary Hostetler Yoder. He was married to Bonnie Thomas Yoder. Betty Leddon, 62, of Squaw Run Rd. Wayne Township passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 13, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born April 6, 1962 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Anna Mae Stanford Oliver. Betty worked in the dietary department at UPMC Cranberry Place. Joseph “Butch” P. Sheeler, 82 of Ellport passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at the Butler VA Medical Center.
