Ellwood City Football Announces Youth Camp

The Ellwood City Varsity Wolverines football team will be hosting a youth football camp this summer. The camp will take place June 7th-9th from 4-6 p.m. This will be a free camp and it is open to children in grade 3rd-6th. The varsity coaches along with the senior players, will be coaching and overseeing the camp. This will be a non-contact football skills camp. The participants will be given the opportunity to work on the fundamentals of each position on offense and defense. Each day will end with a game of flag football. Ryan Gibbons spent his time on the mound avoiding bats with an outstanding pitching effort and knocked in the game’s winning run at the plate, putting the bat on the ball and putting the Wolverines in the WPIAL quarterfinals. Riverside Boys Track Collects Four WPIAL Individual Championships

The Riverside boys track team collected a total of four championships at the WPIAL Individual Championship meet at Slippery Rock University on Wednesday. Colby Belczyk put on a show. Belczyk won the 800m in 1:54.41 setting a new school record, breaking his own record of 1:54.99 and then teamed up with Alden Wetzel, Brody Barton, and Ty Fluharty, to win the 4×400 relay team with a personal best time of 3:27.65.
