Keller Qualifies For PIAA Championships, Wolverines Eye WPIAL Team Semifinals

Jordan Keller competed in the WPIAL Class 2A Golf Finals Wednesday at Sewickley Heights Country Club, qualifying for the PIAA Championships with a two-day total of 160 (+16), good enough for T-15 overall among the 38 golfers. Keller became just the 2nd Ellwood City golfer in the last 30 year to qualify for the PIAA Golf Championships in State College. Keller advanced to the championships after his performance last week. Ellwood City golf standout Jordan Keller has advanced to the 2nd round of the WPIAL Class 2A Boys Individual Championship. The junior finished with a 6-over round of 78 on Monday at the Par-72 Youghiogheny Country Club in McKeesport. Keller fired a 38 on the front nine and a 40 on the back nine. Three local golfers qualified for the WPIAL Golf Individual championships with their performances Monday at Tanglewood Golf Course.
