Tenaris Closes Acquisition Of Beaver Falls Scrap Yard

Tenaris announced today the official closing of its acquisition of the Beaver Falls scrap processing yard in Pennsylvania, now transitioned to its subsidiary, Steel Recycling Services. Operations remain unchanged, while the acquisition strengthens Tenaris’s US steel manufacturing footprint. Located adjacent to Tenaris’s Koppel manufacturing facility, the approximately 39-acre yard enhances coordination between scrap processing and steel production, providing direct access to high quality raw materials for its Koppel steel shop which produces liquid steel using an electric arc furnace (EAF). “Completing this acquisition marks an important step in strengthening our US domestic manufacturing capabilities,” said Guillermo Moreno, President of Tenaris….

ELLWOOD, in partnership with Lawrence County School-to-Work, hosted their 20th annual High School Engineering Day on Thursday, March 5, at ELLWOOD’s New Castle campus. Bernstine to Host Concealed Carry Seminar in Ellwood City on Wednesday
