ECR Revitalization Winter Wine and Brew Fest

The Ellwood City Revitalization (ECR) committee partners closely with the Ellwood City Chamber of Commerce and the Ellwood City Council to dedicate efforts toward restoring the local community in order to invite businesses, families and visitors back into the area – ultimately as an attempt to encourage local economy growth. POLICE: Two Charged in Christmas Burglary Attempt

According to the criminal complaint, two males will be facing burglary charges after an incident that occurred on Christmas Day at approximately 11:45p.m. at a residence on Spring Avenue. Officers were advised by the reporting party that two males had kicked in the rear door of the house and left the scene in a green Mitsubishi Eclipse. Mayor Presents Commendation to Samuel Teolis

Mayor Anthony Court presented a commendation to Samuel Teolis, owner and respected Director of Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory after 61 years as a Funeral Director in the Ellwood City area. Mr. Teolis’s basement of the funeral home recently became a member of the PA Museums Association, it is a museum of 19th Century America and the WWI and WWII. Portersville Christian School will hold an information Night/Open House on Monday January 23, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the church for families interested in enrolling students for the 2016-2017 school year. Police: 13 Year Old Charged After Making Death Threats to the Owners of Stolen Guns

A 13 year old student was apprehended by North Sewickley Police after his direct involvement in a stolen weapons and terroristic threat incident that occurred last week.
