One of the Ellwood City Municipal Women House Tour homes, the Leavens household, located at 405 Pershing St., in Ellwood City, is the second home on the list to be decorated for the event. Wampum, PA – Each year, the Wampum Area Christmas Parade Committee prepares floats that do not compete in the popular float contest. They like to add to parade line-up each to assure new and fresh content to complement the familiar traditions. Join the Ellwood City Relay for Life organization for their fourth meeting of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Ellwood on Thursday, December 7th at 6p.m. They will be meeting at The Beanery, 212 Portersville Road in Ellport, (the old La Isla Mexican Restaurant). Newborn’s Body Found Under Porch of Home on Ellwood Road

Brittany Robinson, 23, of Shenango Township is facing charges of homicide, abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence, and concealing the death of a child after the body of her newborn was found hidden under the porch of a home on Ellwood Road. The owner of a home in the 3200 block on Ellwood Road called the police on Sunday, who then found the infant’s body hidden in a crawlspace outside. During several days during December, the Wurtemburg United Methodist Church will be hosting a Nativities On Display event featuring over 200 displays.
