Ellwood City School District Choir Performs At Community Plaza

On Wednesday, the Ellwood City Area School District Concert Choir gathered and sang Christmas carols at the Community Plaza. The brief concert began approximately 10:30am and was under the direction of Senior High Choral Director, Felicia Greco. This past Sunday the music department held its Annual Christmas Gift Concert at Lincoln High School. More than 250 students will be performing in this concert. Corona D’italia December Meeting, Lodge Disbanding

Officers and members of Corona D’italia #807 held their Christmas Dinner on Wednesday, December 5, at the Wolverine Restaurant. Chairman, Acting President, Valerie Valentino and Co-chairman, Lois DiFrischia, greeted the arrivals. Valentino checked reservations and gave door prize tickets, DiFrischia directed seating and presented each person with a 2019 journal and a Santa soap dispenser, provided by Valentino. LED Billboard Being Constructed In Franklin Township

What is going on in Franklin Township? The Search Is On, Police Reporting Up To 25 Vehicle Break-Ins

From Sunday, December 8 and into Monday, December 9, there had been a reported 10 incidents of vehicles being broken into in Ellwood City. As of today, however, police say there has been between 20-25 break-ins. The thief or thieves have taken anywhere between $200 and $2 worth of items and change in each report. These break-ins have been happening in the following areas: Meadowridge Drive, Skyline Drive, Aetna Drive, and York Street. Coffee Shop Lessons: Project Educate Comes To Ellwood

Project Educate is returning to Ellwood City. The workshops started in November and returned for its December workshop earlier this week. The plan is for it to keep coming back every second Monday of the month through the summer of 2019. These workshops are held at 6:00 p.m. at National Grind. Ellwood City Council Agenda Meeting, New Electric Rate For Vote

Ellwood City Council held their regular monthly agenda meeting on December 10. All council members were present at the meeting. The agenda meeting was brief and allowed for attendees to get a rundown on what will be voted on in next weeks council meeting.
