  1. The number of Catholic High Schools in Pennsylvania’s 10th district: ZERO.

The number of Catholic Elementary Schools in Pennsylvania’s 10th district: ZERO.

With Catholic schools closing at unprecedented rates, Berntine considers this a priority for the 10th district?

His efforts would be better spent addressing air and water pollution in which Western Pennsylvania ranks second in the nation.

As a co-sponsor of HB 2154, Bernstine voted on June 5, 2018 to repeal the requirement for the Department of Environmental Protection to review a well’s impact on parks and historical sites before issuing a drilling permit.

Bernstine’s HB 2154 also authorizes the spread of production brines on unpaved roads for dust control.

Bernstine’s HB 2154 also exempts wastewater treatment plants from amount of salty discharge in rivers.

Bernstine’s actions could easily be summarized as creating a problem that doesn’t exist for us then take credit for solving an issue that is irrelevant for the 10th district.
