Ellwood City Medical Center Offering Kidney Classes

As part of its outreach efforts, Ellwood City Medical Center will be hosting “Kidney Smart Classes.” The next class will be held June 24 at 1 p.m. in the Ellwood City Medical Center’s Basement Dining Room, 724 Pershing Street. Mayor Court Earns Cecil K. Leberknight Award

Mayor Anthony J. Court of Ellwood City Borough received a service award this month in Hershey, Pennsylvania. May Court was proud to receive the “Cecil K. Leberknight Award” on June 12, 2019, in Hershey, PA.   The award was in honor of his dedicated service for over 15 years to the Borough of Ellwood City. Trinity Lutheran Church Celebrates 125 Years

Ellwood City Man Convicted on Federal Drug Charges

PITTSBURGH, PA – After deliberating for two hours, a federal jury of seven men and five women found Taurean Potter guilty of one count of Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine and one count of Distribution of Cocaine, United States Attorney Scott W. Brady announced today. Potter, age 33, of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania was tried before United States District Judge Arthur J. Schwab in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The second winner for the 2019 Mayor Beautification Award was announced this week by the Mayor’s Office. A restaurant gift certificate was presented to Marty Homner of Franklin Avenue, Ellwood City.
