TRAVEL ADVISORY: PA Turnpike Ramp Closures Scheduled at Beaver Valley Exit 13 Interchange

HOMEWOOD – The Pennsylvania Turnpike (PA Turnpike) advises motorists that westbound on and off-ramps will be closed at the Beaver Valley Interchange (Exit 13) beginning Sunday, September 8th at 6 p.m. until Friday September 13th at 6:00 a.m. This closure allows crews working on the Beaver Valley Bridge Replacement Project to safely tie-in temporary ramps to allow for the construction of the final ramp configuration for the new interchange at PA Route 18 (Big Beaver Boulevard). SIMPLE ASSAULT: Tyler Cox, 22, of Ellwood City, is charged with Simple Assault and Harassment after an incident on September 1st. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 8:31 p.m., officers were dispatched to Loop Street for a disturbance and were advised of a physical domestic with an male actor fleeing the scene. The male, later identified as Cox was located near Evans Drive and Cox told officers an argument turned physical. OCTG Imports Continue To Impact Operations At Tenaris

OCTG (oil country tubular goods) imports continue to impact operations at Tenaris and its operations in Pennsylvania and Ohio. This according to Tenaris US President Luca Zanotti on the matter.
