Ellwood City & Beaver County Tree Disposal Information

With the Christmas season winding down, the once lively trees that brought joy and light up our homes are dying and needles are rapidly covering homes. From now until January 31, 2019, borough residents can drop these dying trees off at Stiefel Park. Due to the construction of the new public works building, the Christmas Tree drop off location has changed to the Women’s Softball (upper field) Field parking lot at Stiefel Park. Tickets On Sale For “West Side Story”

SHARON – The Jets and the Sharks will take over the Armory of the Arts for seven days in January when the Chrysalis Stage Advanced Performing Arts Conservatory stages “West Side Story” in Sharon. Holy Redeemer To Host Local Group “One Voice”

On Friday, local group “One Voice” will be performing at the Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City.  The event is scheduled to begin at 7:00pm The program is titled “Oh Come Let Us Adore Him” and is said to be an advent Christmas program. Coffee Shop Lessons: Project Educate Comes To Ellwood

Project Educate is returning to Ellwood City. The workshops started in November and returned for its December workshop earlier this week. The plan is for it to keep coming back every second Monday of the month through the summer of 2019. These workshops are held at 6:00 p.m. at National Grind. The Lincoln High Schools Choral Music Department is extremely proud to be presenting it’s 75th Annual Christmas Gift Concert on Sunday, December 16, at 3:00 p.m at Lincoln High School. Route 351 Koppel Bridge Traffic Stoppages begin Monday

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing traffic stoppages on the Koppel Bridge (Route 351) in Koppel Borough and North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, will begin Monday, December 3 weather permitting. Traffic stoppages of 15 minutes or less will occur weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Koppel Bridge through Tuesday, January 15.
