Cambridge Falls Set To Host Three Upcoming Events

Cambridge Falls Senior Living facility is set to host three upcoming events at its Wampum facility. First, on Sunday, September 19, Cambridge Falls will host its 2nd annual Car Cruise.  The event is scheduled to take place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and feature classic cars, 50/50 and prize giveaways, food trucks and music entertainment by DJ Gregg. Ellwood City Fire Department Offering CPR/AED Class

The Ellwood City Fire Department is offering its monthly CPR/AED Class and First Aid class next week. The class is schedule to take place Wednesday September, 15th at 6:00 p.m. at the Ellwood City Fire Department fire station. ECFD offers American Heart Association courses, BLS Healthcare provider, Heartsaver for the general public, and Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid for teachers and staff of preschools and day cares. Spotted Lanternfly Workshop Planned

An upcoming FREE workshop presented by the Beaver County Conservation District will provide information about the alien invader, the Spotted Lanternfly, and how to reduce the problems caused by this non-native invasive pest. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 14th at The Barn at Old Economy Park in Baden.  The workshop is schedule to start at 6:00 p.m. and last until 8:00 p.m. Attendees will learn how to identify and destroy the Spotted Lanternfly.  A limited number of free traps will be available for use on your property.  Attendees can also learn about the local quarantine and what it…

LHS Pie Festival, Riverside Panther Night Scheduled This Week

Two local events this week kick off the back to school season and highlight the fall sports season.
