In anticipation of a previously announced changeover from Peebles to Gordmans, there will be a hiring event hosted at all 23 Gordman locations in Pennsylvania this month.

While the changeover will be official at all Peebles locations in Pennsylvania on February 18, corporate owner Stage Stores Inc. announced the event will be on January 7 from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Locally, the event will be held at the Franklin Plaza on Route 288 and at the store in Neshannock Township at 3332 Wilmington Road.

Stage Stores Inc. owns not only Gordmans but Bealls, Palais Royal, Stage and Goody’s. Due to their success within their 650 stores across 42 states, this fall they had announced that they will be also converting 300 of its other brand stores into Gordmans by mid-2020 due to their success.

According to reports, the hiring event will be offering the availability of many positions including, but not limited to, store manager, assistant store manager, sales associate, and stockroom associate. Full-time workers will be offered a plethora of benefits including health insurance, paid vacation and holidays, a 401k savings plan, and a 20% discount on merchandise.
