Fall Band Bash to Benefit 2021 Fireworks Display

Have you been itching to get out and enjoy a concert? Look no further than Ellwood City and the 1st Annual Ellwood City Fall Band Bash. The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458. Hill View Manor Hosting Trick or Treat

On Sunday, October 25th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., school-age kids (ages 5-12) can visit a Scare Manor attraction (kid themed) and walk through a Truck n Treat area for treats at the Hill View Manor in New Castle. All admission fees for event will be donated to Shenango Township K-9 Unit. One nonpaying parent or guardian must accompany a minor at all times (up to 3 kids per adult). Lawrence County Action Group Announces Get-Out-The-Vote Rally

Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 24th for a series of Lawrence County Blue Splash rallies. The Lawrence County Action is hosting a day of Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) rallies in Ellwood City & New Castle. Bernstine to Host Shredding Event On October 31

HARRISBURG – As a free service to the community, Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Beaver/Butler/Lawrence) will host a Shredding Event on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the North Sewickley Township Firehall located at 887 Mercer Road in Beaver Falls. “Identity theft is one of the fastest-growing crimes across the Commonwealth and we need to put a stop to it,” said Bernstine. “By allowing residents free use of an industrial-sized shredding truck, they can be assured that old documents, such as credit card statements, utility bills and medical bills, do not fall into the wrong hands.” This event is…

The Jubilee Ministries International (JMI) “Nourishing Others Well-Being” Project (N.O.W.) along with The Christian Chamber of Commerce of Western Pennsylvania (CCCWP) is sponsoring a Massive Drive-Thru Food Giveaway for up to 5,000 families on Saturday, October 24th, 2020 This is the ministries largest food distribution to date! BC3 Project Pink to Help Fight Breast Cancer

(Butler, PA) Butler County Community College, whose students, staff and guests have raised nearly $20,000 to benefit breast cancer research since 2010, is hosting the sale of pink ribbons and the collection of financial donations this month to assist a nonprofit organization that raises awareness and funds for the treatment of the disease. BC3’s social awareness club is directing BC3’s 2020 Project Pink during breast cancer awareness month. Proceeds will benefit the Side-Out Foundation, a Virginia charity that raises funds through mainly volleyball-related events.
