Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week of February 15

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

PLEASE NOTE:

The Library will continue doing curbside pick-up. Please call us with the book(s), authors, genre or recommended material you would like to check out and our staff will see that it is in alphabetical order in the lobby for you. Limitations for patrons are 10 items to include books and limited to a total of three DVD’s or books on CD per person. All patrons must wear a mask when entering the lobby and wait until there are less than three people in the lobby. We are still doing our returns in specially marked containers in our lobby. Please do not put any donated books in these bins. 724-758-6458 is the number to call with requests.

Hours are Tuesday 10:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m., Wednesday 10:00 a.m. – 6:15 p.m. Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Lobby is open during these times for curbside pick-up and returns. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

Activities taking place this week include.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 16

10:00 a.m. – “Baby Laptime,” this virtual program will be on our Facebook page.

1:30 p.m. – “Afternoon Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Olive Again” by Elizabeth Stroudt through a Zoom meet.

6:00 p.m. – “Just You and Me Book Group,” will be discussing the book “the Magic Trap” by Jacqueline Davies through a Zoom meet.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18

6:00 p.m. – “Family Laptime,” this virtual program will be on our Facebook page.

SAVE THE DATE:

February 24 at 6:00 p.m. there will be a virtual Black History Month Program on the Library’s Facebook page. The Library has partnered with Orange Hat Publishing to bring picture book author, Ain Heath Drew and illustrator Shamar Knight-Justice to read “Ari J.’s Kinky Curly Crown”.
March 6 at 10 a.m. the Library, in conjunction with Annick Press, will be celebrating the 2nd Annual Paper Bag Princess Day virtually on Facebook Live.
