Two Area Clean-Up Days Announced

Both Brush Creek Park and River Road have scheduled Clean-Up Days in the month of April. Brush Creek has scheduled their Clean-Up Day for Thursday, April 22nd from Noon until Dusk. Volunteers are needed for this event to help out the community.  Take pride in your community and help clean up by picking up garbage, sticks, and brush. Bring a team, ask friends and co-workers. Lawrence County Earth Day Ewing Park Clean-Up Scheduled

Lawrence County Earth Day is happy to announce that Boy Scout Troop 806 and the Rotary Club of Ellwood City will be sponsoring/leading a clean-up in Ewing Park on Saturday, April 17th. Those who want to lend a hand should meet at Shelter #8 at 9:30 a.m. and bring a trash bag and gloves. Please follow social distancing guidelines. 2021 Ellwood City Festival Postponed

According to its social media post Tuesday evening, the Ellwood City Arts, Crafts, Foods, and Entertainment Festival Committee has cancelled its 2021 event. This postponement marks a second consecutive year the festival has been canceled due to coronavirus safety concerns. Happy Days Musical Coming To Riverside

The Riverside Beaver County School District proudly presents its 2021 musical comedy – “HAPPY DAYS – The Musical” The Riverside High School Theater will present the hilarious musical, HAPPY DAYS – The Musical for four days beginning on Thursday, April 29th through Sunday, May 2nd in the high school auditorium. Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County Hanging Ribbons For Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Every 73 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and the Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County is aiming to shed light on the problem in hopes of changing the narrative that affects 1 in 3 females and 1 in 4 males according to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention.
