Comicon Returns To The Waterfront

3 Rivers Comicon returns to the Pittsburgh area to bring comics, toys, and other nerdy things to fans May 22-23, 2021 at the Waterfront in an outdoor event. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the convention, which normally takes place inside, will have all their vendors and guests under tents in the overflow lot between the Farmer’s National Bank and Steak ‘n Shake, near New Dimension Comics, this year. Riverside High School 2021 Prom

Riverside High School held their 2021 prom this past Friday May 7th. The promenade took place at Riverside High School where students walked through both the gymnasium and auditorium for friends and family to see. The dance was held at Rustic Meadows Farms in Darlington, Pennsylvania. The prom court was selected earlier in the week and the king and queen were crowned at the end of promenade. Mayor Court To Speak At V-E Day Ceremony

Mayor Anthony Court will be the guest speaker at a Wreath-laying Ceremony in honor of the 76th Anniversary of the Allied Victory in Europe (V-E Day) to be held at the World War Two monument in front of the Ellwood City Municipal Building on Saturday, May 8 at 10:00 a.m. After Mayor Court’s address, the wreath laying will be done by the Ellwood City American Legion J. Cambridge Retirement Living Announces Upcoming Events

Cambridge Retirement Living has announced two upcoming events within the community. On Wednesday May 5th, Cinco de Mayo will be celebrated at Cambridge Pointe from 11:00 a.m until 1:00 p.m. B’s Sip of Summer Food Truck will be on site to provide food and prizes will also be made available as well. Ellwood City will be holding its Annual National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 6th at the Ellwood City Community Plaza.
