Riverside Auxilary Band Hosting 2nd Annual Spin Camp

The Riverside Auxiliary Band is hosting its 2nd Annual Spin Camp. Students will be taught baton, flag, and dance basics. Students will use these skills to learn a routine that will be performed for parents at the end of the camp. At the end of camp, students in grades 6-11 will have the opportunity to sign up for the 2023-24 Marching Band season as part of the Auxillary Band. Wampum American Legion Offering An All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast

The Wampum American Legion is starting it’s all-you-can-eat Breakfast event again on Saturday, February 18th from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The event is scheduled to take place at the Legion club located at 436 Beaver Street, Wampum, PA 16157. The menu features scrambled eggs, home fries, french toast, sausage, biscuits & gravy, bacon, toast, coffee, tea and orange juice. Costs for the breakfast are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children five years and younger. “We appreciate your continued support of the Wampum American Legion,” says Wampum Auxilary Post 749 President, Marsha Moore.

Ellwood City Winter Wine & Brew Fest To Be Held Next Weekend

Tickets are still available for the upcoming Ellwood City Winter Wine and Brew Fest. The annual event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 28 at the Sons of Italy at 808 Lawrence Ave. The event is a crowd favorite and proceeds benefit Ellwood City Revitalization. The cost is $25 per person in advance and $30 per person at the door. The event will be catered, and a cash bar will be available. Calvin Church Starting New Program In February

Meet new people & explore faith together. Calvin Presbyterian Church will be sponsoring a new Alpha course beginning February 2nd. Alpha is a series of 12 weekly sessions where you can explore the Christian faith in an open-minded and welcoming environment.  The course is open to the public/community. Calvin Presbyterian Church will host the ALPHA course, run by Pastor Sean Brubaker. Each session begins with a meal, a video, and open-minded discussion.
