Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of June 19th

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

The Library has partnered with Seneca Library District, Oil Creek Library District, Erie County Public Library and Crawford County Federated Library System for e-books. You can now use the Overdrive or Libby App. to borrow books from the above Libraries. Please call the library with any questions.

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, JUNE 19

  • 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” a program for adults to come and de-stress while coloring with either our supplies or their own.
  • 1:30 p.m. – “Afternoon Book Group for Adults,” will be discussing the book “Wish You Were Here” by Jodi Picoult.

TUESDAY, JUNE 20

  • 10:00 a.m. – “Jump Start to Kindergarten,” a program for children entering Kindergarten in the fall.
  • 6:30 p.m. – “Just You and Me Book Group,” will be discussing the book “A Place to Hang the Moon” by Kate Albus.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 21

  • 11:00 a.m. – “Bee Awesome Program,” designed for children that finished Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
  • 6:00 p.m. –“Family Story Time,” a program for babies, toddlers, pre-school aged children. Registration is requested.

THURSDAY, JUNE 22

  • 10:00 a.m. – “Puppet Theater,” for children finishing 4th through 12th grade.
  • Noon – “Bookworm Book Group,” will be discussing the book “The City of Ember” by Jeanne DuPrau.

FRIDAY, JUNE 23

  • 12:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” a group that meets and works on individual projects. New people are welcome.
