Carnegie Free Library of Beaver Falls: “A Novel Event”

Saturday Nov 18th 11a.m. to 4p.m.  25 Authors will be on hand to meet greet and sale their books.  Panel discussions will be happening throughout the day.   Learn more about writing in various genres, mindful writing and even writing about nonfiction. Bernstine to Host Agriculture Summit and Breakfast

WHAT: State Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Beaver/Butler/Lawrence) is hosting an Agriculture Summit and Breakfast for 10th District residents and local members of the agricultural industry. In addition to remarks by Bernstine about his experience in the industry, the event will feature an update from Pennsylvania Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding. Ellwood City Christmas Parade Details Announced

The annual Ellwood City Christmas Parade will march down Lawrence Avenue Saturday, December 2 at 3:30. The parade will start at the intersection of 4th Street and Lawrence Avenue and end at the intersection of 8th Street and Lawrence Avenue. Everyone is invited to participate in the parade. Art Students to Paint Holiday Scenes on Downtown Windows This Week

After a several year break, the Ellwood City Kitchen Cabinet is sponsoring the High School Art Department, 3D printer students and parent volunteers to paint windows of buildings and businesses throughout downtown Ellwood City for the holiday season along Lawrence Ave. & Fifth St. on Thursday, Nov. 16 from 8a.m-2p.m. “Three years ago when we approached the EC Art Club to paint the vacant building windows on the 500 block, it gave a lift to the avenue and the public actually thought the buildings were occupied. Local students in Portersville Christian School’s Production of Antigone – Cast and Crew Portersville, PA. The cast and crew of Portersville Christian School’s Fine Arts Committee’s modern English production of Sophocles’ Antigone has been announced. Poets Needed for Art Show

Daysprings on 6th is still accepting poets to read their poetry this Thursday evening during the Renew and Revive Art Show reception.
