In a post made available Monday morning, the Borough of Ellwood City has reminded and notified its electric customers that their PayDici online payment portal is still not functioning. The borough advises that payments are to be made in person via check, mailing a check, or calling in to make payment by credit card over the phone. The Borough of Ellwood City and the Ellwood City Revitalization have combined efforts to bring some new beautification to downtown. In June, the Borough of Ellwood City received a $2,000.00 2023 National Pennsylvania Day Mini Grant that was used to assist with costs to replace planter boxes along Lawrence Avenue. The Ellwood City Revitalization matched the grant last month and presented a check to the Ellwood City Borough for $2,000.00 (pictured).
