Dr. Nick Neupauer To Receive Inaugural Leadership Excellence Award

Dr. Nick Neupauer, an Ellwood City native and the longest-serving chief executive officer in the 57-year history of Butler County Community College, will receive on Wednesday an inaugural leadership award named after a longtime Lawrence County resident. Leadership Butler County on September 7th will present BC3’s president with its first Stan Kosciuszko Leadership Excellence Award during a Celebrate Business Dinner at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. The Ellwood City Lady Wolverines finished Week One of volleyball on a high note, earning a three-set sweep of the rival Riverside Panthers on Saturday afternoon. The victory came after defeating the South Side Rams 3-2 on Thursday. Ellwood City Girls Volleyball has officially started for the Lady Wolverines as they defeated the Ambridge Bridgers in three straight sets to pick up the early season victory. The Wolverines came right out of the gate, having a double-digit lead in the first set, ultimately winning 25-19.
