Richard James Duncan, 42, of Portersville (Perry Twp.) , died suddenly and accidently from injuries sustained in a car crash on US Route 422 Saturday morning, December 10 2016  near Prospect PA. He was born on June 9, 1974 in Grove City PA to Patricia Duncan of Portersville, and the late James C. Duncan. Marshela   A. Heitzer, 68, of  Ellport,  (Ellwood City) passed away peacefully on Sunday  December 4 2016  at noon at her residence. She was born in Butler PA on March 23 1948 to the late  Paul Horst and the late Gladys Learn Horst. Marshela graduated from Slippery Rock High School, and  worked at Park Pharmacy, and later Newmans Pharmacy, and Uni-Mart, and Busy Beaver in Ellwood City, and later was  a manager  at Family Dollar in Franklin Township. Zachary L. “Zack” Sockaci of Fombell passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday evening, November 23, 2016 after a brief illness. He was born February 19, 1922 in Park Gate (Ellwood City) to the late John D. Sockaci and Adrienne (Pelissier) Sockaci. Zack graduated from Lincoln High School in 1939. He enlisted in the US Coast Guard in 1942 and achieved the rank of Machinist Mate 2nd Class and served on submarine patrol in the North Atlantic. He was discharged in December of 1945.
