Hancox,  74, of the Evergreen Nursing Center, Harmony, formerly of New Castle, passed away peacefully on  Saturday morning, August 6 2016, in the care of  Amedisys Hospice at Evergreen Nursing Center. She was born in Brookville PA on October 9 1941, to the late  Quay and  Georgia  Conway  Wolfe. Joy graduated from  Brookville High School,  and the Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing, affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh. Harvey C. Wright II, 57, of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on  Tuesday evening,  July 12, 2016 at his residence,  following a lengthy courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Ellwood City on July 10, 1959 to the late Harvey C.   Verna A. Stuart, 77, of New Castle, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday evening, July 6 2016 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband , Wes C. Stuart, who died 27 years ago. She is survived by one son and three daughters: Wes (and Pamela) Stuart, Jr. of West Pittsburg PA; and Lori (and Ken) Aller, of New Castle; and Stacy (and Daymon) Attisano, and Christine (and Michael) Collins, all of Portersville. Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive. Private services were held at 11:00 A.M….

William D. Zeigler, 86, of Hollow Road, Shenango Twp. passed away at his residence the morning of July 6 2016. William was born in New Castle on March 26, 1930 to the late William J. and Hazel Irene Getrost Zeigler. He married the former Reta M. Nycum who survives at home. They were married 65 years. Margaret D. Hawke Wilson, 89,  of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler on  Tuesday, June 28 2016  after a brief illness. She was born in Harrisville, Butler County, PA on March 6 1927 to the late William Blaine Hawke and the late Dorothy Hoopes Hawke. Margaret was a graduate of the old Princeton High School.  She then worked for Bell  Telephone Co. as a switchboard operator in the Ellwood City office, and later worked at the Ellwood City Hospital. Martha  A. Nye West, 70, of Thomas Hill Road, Fombell (Franklin Twp.)  passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday evening, June 22 2016 after a brief battle with cancer. James A. Nye, 86, of Utica, PA, formerly of Rose Point, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, May 24, 2016 at his residence in Utica. John T. Barr, 57, of Hardy, VA, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016.  He bravely dealt with multiple sclerosis for eighteen years. He was born in Ellwood City on April 11, 1959 to John Y. and Shirley Riney Barr, who survive. Herman L. Feldman, 90, local attorney, of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at his residence.
