 Lloyd Elmer  Moyer, 93, of Schill Manor, Ellwood City, formerly of Fombell, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Ellwood City Hospital. He was born  in  Fombell, Beaver County, on September 26 1924 to the late Elmer and Esther Herrmann  Moyer. He married the late Phyllis Catherine Boots Moyer on June 12 1948.  She preceded him in death in October 2014. Together they remained on the farm,  and owned and operated Moyer Farm Dairy from 1959-1972.   After selling the dairy, Lloyd worked at the Ellwood City Forge until his retirement.   He continued working as needed  as…

Frank  Tangora, 93, of  Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 2 2017 at  The Grove at Harmony PA. He was born in  Aliquippa   on August 6 1924,  to the late the late  Pasquale  and Antonetta    Tangora. Frank attended Aliquippa High School,  and then served in the US Army 5th Air Force during WWII, with the 90th Bombardment Group, in New Guinea, the Bismark  Archepelago,   and the Phillippines. Ruth Bleakney  Holzhauser, 97, of New Castle PA, passed away peacefully on  Monday, September  4 2017  after an  illness. The daughter of  the late Eugene  Bleakney, and   Edythe Magee Bleakney,  Ruth was born in Ellwood City in August 1920.  She was the devoted big sister to   Shirley Bleakney Houck (deceased),   and Kenneth Bleakney, and Norma Bleakney McClintick. Ruth married Jacob D. Holzhauser, who died in 2000, a decorated WWII Marine veteran, in 1946. M. Charles Nye, 88, of Portersville PA, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday afternoon, August 2 2017 at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler PA.
