Born in Ellwood City on April 8, 1963, Anna Marie was the daughter of the late Fred and Alberta Williams Faraoni.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Krol, Jr. on April 26, 2011.  Anna Marie worked as a long distance truck driver with her husband.  She later worked as a DJ and had a love for music and her cats. Raymond A. Christy, Jr., 75, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at St. John’s Specialty Care Center in Mars. Born in Butler on February 3, 1948, Raymond was the son of the late, Raymond A. and Grace Helen Thompson Christy.  Raymond was a contractor and later worked as a truck driver.  He was a veteran of the Army and served in Vietnam.  Raymond was a member of the Order of the Owls in Beaver Falls. Joylee MacDonald McCaughtry, 81, of Ellport passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023, in the emergency room at UPMC Jameson. Born in Ellwood City on November 25, 1941, Joylee was a daughter of the late Eugene and Isabell Means MacDonald.  She married Jerry McCaughtry Sr. in 1987.  Joylee was a 1959 graduate of Lincoln High School.  She worked at Flowline in New Castle and later retired from Home Instead after twenty years of being a caregiver.  Joylee was Presbyterian by faith and she lived her faith by volunteering.  She was the “lunch lady” for many summers during the Carpenter’s Project, she…

Kathleen “Kathy” Russo, 75, of Ellwood City, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren, Ohio. Born in Ellwood City on October 10, 1947, Kathy was the daughter of Doreen Hewitson Tomon of Ellwood City and the late Louis Tomon.  She married Dominick Russo on April 26, 1969 and he preceded her in death on October 24, 2022.  Kathy was a member of Divine Grace Parish.  She enjoyed reading, sewing, crafting and watching game shows. Linda Lou Matheny, 76, of Fombell, passed away at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver on Saturday, July 15, 2023. Born in Ellwood City on December 21, 1946, Linda was the daughter of the late Leroy and Frances Steffler Smith.  She had worked for over 30 years at Adams Manufacturing in the shipping department. Linda is survived by her two children, William J. (Karen) Matheny and Elizabeth A. Raymond C. Dombeck, 89, of Ellwood City, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Celebration Villa in Chippewa. Born in Ellwood City on August 21, 1933, Ray was the son of the late Conrad A. and Mildred V. Kline Dombeck. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Lorena Lehman. Joan Leo, 60, of Ellport, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023 in her residence following a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Born on November 18, 1962 in Mt. Lebanon, Joan was the daughter of the late Jim and Rosalie Vaglia Wold.  She retired from Andritz Herr-Voss Stamco as an accounting supervisor after 28 years.  Joan was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan.  She enjoyed camping, dancing and walking.  She absolutely loved spending time with her grandchildren. Susan Elizabeth Pratt, 66, passed away peacefully at UPMC Jameson Hospital on June 1, 2023, after a six-year battle with cancer. She was born on October 22, 1956 in Ellwood City to the late Dominick and Elizabeth Pratt.  Susan graduated from Lincoln Jr.-Sr. High School in Ellwood City in 1974. She continued her education at Beaver County Community College, graduating in 1980 with an associate degree in medical laboratory technology.
