Elizabeth “Betty” Hulick, 92, of Ellwood City, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Trinity Oaks. Born in West Aliquippa on May 3, 1931, Betty was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Palazzi Lise. Betty married her beloved husband, George “Skip” Hulick on May 8, 1954 and they enjoyed fifty-eight years together until he preceded her in death in January of 2013. Mary M. Guerrini, 82

Mary M. Guerrini, 82, of Ellport, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. Born in Caserta, Italy on September 26, 1940, Mary was the daughter of the late Vincent and Rose Biasucci DiFusco.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John Guerrini on October 14, 2022.  They were married on April 4, 1959.  Mary was a florist at Guerrini’s Floral Shop and later worked at the Knitting Mill, Dust Proof, Romar and Fotia’s.  She was a member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers.  Mary enjoyed crocheting…

Norma Jean Muntean passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on April 16, 2023. She was born Norma Jean Bango on September 19th, 1929. Norma grew up in West Mayfield and Ellwood City.  She married Nick Muntean of Ellwood City on her birthday in 1948.  Her parents were Anna (Mitchell) and Ralph Ferrante.  She was a member of Park Alliance Church in Ellwood City. Albert Joseph Whalen, 94, of Ellwood City, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at UPMC McCandless. Born in Ashland, Pennsylvania on October 25, 1928, Albert was the son of the late Albert and Marie Althoff Whalen. Hubert L. Reed, 91

Hubert L. Reed, 91, of Fombell passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023 at UPMC Presbyterian. Born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania on April 18, 1931, Hubert was the son of the late James and Fern Deal Reed.  He is survived by his wife, the former Joann Sumey, whom he married in August of 1952.  He retired from Halstead where he worked as a welder and was also President of the Union Local 7032.  Hubert was the founder of the Fombell Lancers Marching Band.  A veteran of the United States Army, he played the drums in the 8th Army Band in Germany….
