Kathleen “Kathy” Russo, 75, of Ellwood City, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren, Ohio.
Born in Ellwood City on October 10, 1947, Kathy was the daughter of Doreen Hewitson Tomon of Ellwood City and the late Louis Tomon. She married Dominick Russo on April 26, 1969 and he preceded her in death on October 24, 2022. Kathy was a member of Divine Grace Parish. She enjoyed reading, sewing, crafting and watching game shows.
In addition to her mother, Kathy is survived by her three sons; Dominick (Beverly) Russo of Clover, SC, Brian (Jennifer) Russo of Canonsburg, PA and Daniel Russo of Ellwood City, four grandchildren; Nick, Nathan, Zachary and Carter Russo, a great-granddaughter, Lucia Russo, two step-grandchildren, Scott and Angel, ten step-great grandchildren, two sisters, Patricia Burns of Ellwood City, Therese (Jim) Palagalo of Ellwood City and three brothers; Daniel (Julie) Tomon of Fresno, OH, Kevin (Linda) Tomon of Fombell and Michael Tomon of Ellwood City.
Friends will be received on Friday, July 21st from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. A Blessing Service will follow the visitation at 4:00 PM. Interment will take place in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made in Kathy’s name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
