Raymond C. Dombeck, 89

Raymond C. Dombeck, 89, of Ellwood City, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Celebration Villa in Chippewa.
Born in Ellwood City on August 21, 1933, Ray was the son of the late Conrad A. and Mildred V. Kline Dombeck. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Lorena Lehman. She passed away on June 2, 2020.

Ray had worked as the chief estimator at the Aetna Standard in Ellwood City and later retired from the same position at Herr-Voss in Callery. He was an active member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church where he was an usher and money counter. He also played on the former St. Agatha softball and volleyball teams. Ray was a Veteran of the Army serving from 1956 through 1958.

Surviving are three children, Daryl Dombeck of Dry Ridge, KY, Alan Dombeck of Ellwood City and Susan (Ross) Setlow of Latham, NY, two grandsons, Matthew and Aaron Setlow, a sister, Josephine (Harold) Champion of Ellwood City and a brother, Norman J. Dombeck of Bel Air, MD.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Ray at Holy Redeemer Church on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 10 AM by Fr. James A. Wehner.  Entombment will follow in Holy Redeemer Mausoleum in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.

Arrangement have been entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
