She was born on September 27, 1943 in Wyandotte, Michigan to the late James and Ruby Hiner.  She spent most of her childhood in the San Fernando Valley, California.  Her family returned to Lincoln Park, Michigan where she graduated from Lincoln Park High School.  While in high school, Sandra was a member of the choral and marching band.  She was the editor of the school paper, The Railsplitter and also the yearbook.  She received the Pen and Quill Award.  Upon graduation,…

Ellen Mae Pishioneri, 84, of North Sewickley Twp., journeyed through the gates of heaven on March 24, 2017 following a lengthy illness. Born on October 13, 1932 in Appleton, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Harold “Curly” and Edna Mae Breuer. A 1950 graduate of Lincoln High School, she was married to James P. Pishioneri for 59 years and he preceded her in death on November 10, 2013. Together, they celebrated their two children, Susan A. Mona Mineo, 82 formerly of Ellwood City passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Edison Manor in New Castle. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mona was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Vanchiro Mineo. Mona worked at Grossman’s Restaurant and later at Carsele’s Restaurant in Ellwood City.
