Sue R. Simi, 89, of Ellwood City, passed away on Monday, Oct. 19, 2015 at 11:40 p.m. at Marion Manor in Greentree, Pa. Born in Ellwood City on Jan. 7, 1926 Sue was the daughter of the late Pietro and Lilly Mariani Simi. Sue retired from Matthews Conveyor and later Ro-Mar Textiles. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish and a former member of the Ellwood City Lioness Club. Sue enjoyed bowling and line dancing, but she enjoyed spending time with family and friends most of all. Marie Ella Hart, 90, of Fombell and Ellwood City went to rest peacefully in the arms of God on the evening of Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 at the Evergreen Nursing Center in Harmony after a brief stay. Prior to her stay at Evergreen, she was a resident of Northview Estates in Ellwood City. Born on Feb., 23, 1925, Marie was the oldest child of George H. and Esther (Rape) Lauten of Fombell. Sandra K. Suhre, 72, of Lookout Ave., Ellwood City, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015 at Valencia Woods Nursing Center in Valencia, Pa. Born on Jan. 21, 1943 in Warren, Ohio, Sandra was the daughter of the late Richard and Martha Crocker Douce. She married Fred Suhre in 1962. Sandra enjoyed cooking and shopping, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and granddogs.
