Mrs. Catherine Prestia, 94, of Ellwood City, passed away Monday, November 7th, 2022 at the Allegheny Health Network Hospital in Wexford, after a lengthy illness. Born June 16th, 1928 in Bari, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Gennaro and Angela Lorusso. She was married to Rocco Prestia who passed away January 27th, 2002. Kathleen was born on June 23rd, 1950 in New Castle to the late Clyde E. and Ethel (McKinney) Miller. She graduated from Riverside High School with the class of 1968, and from the Butler County Community College where she studied nursing. Mrs. Yolanda “Penny” (Paxson) Arkett went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born December 27th, 1948 to the late Joseph Paxson Sr. and Yolanda (DeCaro) Morrison. She married her beloved husband James Arkett on August 22nd, 1981, who survives. Mr. Spielvogel was born on May 11th, 1935 in New Castle to the late George and Mary Rose (Delaney) Spielvogel. Birdie was born on June 21st, 1930 in Ellwood City to the late Umberto and Josephine (Maggi) Carosi Sr.. He attended Lincoln High School, and was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
