Heritage Valley Offering Drive-Thru Flu Shots At Former EC Hospital

To better serve the community during the COVID-19 outbreak, Heritage Valley Health System is offering scheduled drive-through flu shots at several area locations, including the former Ellwood City Hospital. Drive-through flu shots will only be available for patients who have a scheduled flu shot appointment through the Heritage Valley website, HVHS App or the Flu Shot Scheduling Line at 724.773.4285. Flu shots are available for those age 12 and older. According to a press release made available by the Borough of Ellwood City, no candidate for political office, whether local, county, state or federal, shall post any political signs on Borough property without registering at the Ellwood City Municipal Building, 525 Lawrence Avenue, Ellwood City, PA 16117. Governor Wolf to Reinstate Crowd Gathering Restrictions

Thursday afternoon the PIAA received information that the Third Circuit Court of Appeals issued a stay of Judge Stickman’s decision striking the Governor’s COVID-19 restrictions in several areas. The 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals granted a request from Gov. Tom Wolf to reinstate crowd gathering restrictions designed to prevent the spread of Covid-19. WUMC Offering “Soup Quarts-to-Go”

The monthly Soup Suppers at Wurtemburg United Methodist Church have been modified to ensure the safety of our Customers and Volunteers. Starting Saturday, October 10th, soup will be sold in quart jars; using the Drive-Thru method. 2020 Beaver County Hazardous Waste Collection Date Announced

Safely dispose of common household chemicals and take advantage of the Beaver County Hazardous Waste Collection event that is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2020. The 64th annual Lincoln High School Homecoming football game will be played this Friday at 7:00 p.m. when the Wolverines will host the Beaver Falls Tigers.
