PPA Factors, Energy Costs and Consumption Comparison for billings Dec. 2016 – March 2017

The attached information is being provided in order to inform Ellwood City Electric customers of the effect the reduction in the Transmission and Capacity charges set by PJM has had upon the Rate Adjustments (PPA Factor) and customer billings during the months of December 2016 through the upcoming billing in March 2017. Comparisons of PPA components (energy purchases, American Municipal Power-power charges, as well as Transmission and Capacity Charges) were used. Pudue LaCava hosted the 1954 Lincoln Class “Nite at the Movies” committee at her Mt. Vernon Drive home at 2p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16. Changing schedules, a business session was first held, Ilene Gardner conducted the session on behalf of the co-chairmen. Financial reports were given by Clemmy Sirimarco. Bernstine Announces State Funding to Help Area Veterans

ELLWOOD CITY — Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Beaver/Butler/Lawrence) announced today that three organizations in the 10th District dedicated to assisting local veterans received more than $15,000 in grant funding through the Pennsylvania Veterans’ Trust Fund (VTF). The Beaver County Office of Veterans Affairs received $7,500, and the Lawrence County Office of Veterans Affairs received $3,000 to enhance outreach for veterans. Property Tax/Rent Rebates Now Available at District Offices

Applications are now available for the Property Tax and Rent Rebate Program and qualified individuals should file as soon as possible, according to Senator Elder Vogel, Jr. The maximum standard rebate is $650. The program is open to state residents age 65 or older; widows and widowers age 50 or older; and, 100 percent disabled people 18 or older. The income limit is $35,000 a year for homeowners and $15,000 annually for renters, with half of Social Security income excluded. Bernstine Announces State Funding for 18 Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Companies

HARRISBURG – Eighteen fire and ambulance organizations in the 10th Legislative District have been awarded more than $235,000 in funding through the 2016-17 Pennsylvania Fire Company and Volunteer Ambulance Service Grant Program, Rep.
