Terry E. Peffer, 57, of Punxsutawney (formerly of Chewton) passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital. Born August 23, 1963 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Donald and Edith Craven Peffer. Survivors include two brothers, David Peffer of Chewton and Donald R. (Noreen) Peffer Jr. of Chambersburg; two close friends and caretakers, Bill and Tina Barkley of Punxsutawny; and a number of nieces and nephews. Born June 21, 1934 in the Newport area of Wampum, he was the son of the late Clarence and Geraldine Cook Boots Sr. He was married to Shirley Wigley Boots for 58 years when she passed away June 17, 2011.
