Elmer George Hall, 91, of Sycamore Dr., Ellwood City passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Ellwood City Hospital following a three month illness. Born November 29, 1924 in Ellwood City,he was the son of the late Harry L.and Helen Sias Hall. Elmer attended Lincoln High School and then was employed by the Ellwood City Forge, National Tube Company, Mathews Conveyor Company, and lastly Riverside School District where he served as custodian from which he retired in late 1986.Elmer was a member of Providence Baptist Church for over 60 years where he served in several capacities. Born October 26, 1917 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Frances Crum Gibson Sr. She was married for 59 years to Ray N. Barto who passed away November 1, 1999. Helen was a long time Crossing Guard for the Ellwood City Police Department. She was a member of Bell Memorial Presbyterian Church. Helen enjoyed traveling. Doris Mae Jennings, 86, of Soap Run Rd., Fombell passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Northview Estates. Born March 18, 1930 in Zelienople, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Jennie Agnew Drushel. She was married for 63 years to John “Jack” Jennings as they were married on November 22, 1952. He survives. Doris graduated from Lincoln High School in 1948. She worked as a waitress at the former Kaufman House in Zelienople. Brommer, 60, of Meadville, formerly of Wampum, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital as a result of injuries that he received in an automobile accident on April 13. Born June 12, 1955 in Wampum, he was the son of the late Ralph I. and Lucille Goodland Brommer. Don was married June 24, 1978 to Joan Porada Brommer, who survives. Born August 8, 1924 in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Alphonso and Margaret DeRose D’Amore. Marie was married to George O. Pander who passed away November 9, 2006.
